Nice to meet you
I’m Taylor. A Minnesota-based graphic designer who’s been gifted (see also: cursed) to want to make everything beautiful. First functional, but then also beautiful.
What’s my favorite thing
to work on?
I specialize in … versatility.
At the end of art school my dream job would have been a Cookbook Designer. I still love layout and publication design, but most recently? A motion graphics artist. I can’t look at anything I make without imagining how it would move.
Did you know that the often forgotten end of the phrase “A jack of all trades is a master of none” is “but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
I’ve always loved to make things. I remember the moment I learned to copy + paste in Kid Pix! This is not an exaggeration.
I’m deeply grateful that little weirdo found exactly where she needed to be. And how lucky am I that something I love (most days) also pays the bills?
*It’s equally likely I was using kid pix or playing number crunchers a the time of this photo.

I love to make things
I love to make things for real people
Alongside my dear friend Meredith, of Rooted Wellness Counseling, I created a series of empathy cards that with real messages for real people going through some real shit.
I love to show up and make things authentically.
To be honest, I have no choice but to love this about myself, I don’t know any other way.
In my work this means diving deep on audience, strategy, trends, and desired results can be just as important to the design process as the design itself.
Check out the work I did for Trio Plant-based, Minnesota’s first black-owned vegan restaurant.
What am I up to right now?
I’m currently an Art Director at Allianz Life based in Golden Valley, and I’m open for freelance, custom requests, or new opportunities.
I also use my design skills to start (and occasionally finish) DIY projects on my cozy home in SLP, take pictures of my cats, and sell cards on Etsy. I’m currently working on learning to sew my own clothes as part of a no-buy clothing year.
